Dr. Tyra Seldon earned her Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in English Language and Literature in 2002. For over 15 years, she enjoyed teaching at the university and K-12 levels. She also gained valuable experience serving as a consultant for major publishing companies. Feeling led to start her own company, she decided to use her years of experience, expertise, and passion for the English language to launch a full-service writing and editing company. As she conceptualized Seldon Writing Group, LLC, she wanted to make sure that each client received individualized care and customized services.

After a successful launch in 2011, Seldon Writing Group, LLC has had the privilege of serving clients throughout the United States and abroad. We have worked with education tech companies, celebrities, public intellectuals, aspiring writers, established writers, entrepreneurs, media outlets, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies in the development of their written content, blogs, books, curriculum, textbooks, and/or assessments.

Our content developers, subject matter experts, trainers, editors, beta readers, and curriculum writers all have 10+ years of professional experience in the writing, editing and/or training and education fields.
